Having received regular osteopathic treatment throughout her childhood, Clare embraces its philosophies. She has a deep understanding and appreciation of the benefits osteopathic treatment offers. Clare’s approach as a practitioner is focused on maximising each person’s ultimate health potential. She aims to assist people in understanding how daily lifestyle behaviours can contribute to their complaints so they can make amendments or modifications to support their own wellbeing. She enjoys the variety of issues this approach attracts.
Clare has a keen interest in using Pilates as a tool for improving treatment outcomes, and has undertaken a Pilates for Practitioners rehabilitation course where she furthered her understanding of incorporating these techniques into life and the healing process. She understands the importance of maintaining movement and mobility in patients of all ages and promotes the active engagement of all patients in their own health by encouraging exercise, and especially stretching, of all kinds and at all levels. Clare has completed post-graduate courses in Cranial Osteopathy, Obstetric and Paediatric Osteopathy, and continues to be active in her personal development as a diverse practitioner.
Clare began practicing at Osteopathic Sense in 2007 after graduating from the combined Bachelor of Health Science (Osteopathy) / Masters of Osteopathy program. She enjoys the openness and professionalism of the clinic, and the welcoming environment it affords. She also enjoys its proximity to great coffee.
