Ila Taylor
Osteopath
BHSc and Appl. Sci. (Osteopathy), M.A.O.A
Ila’s passion for Osteopathy stemmed from an interest in human anatomy and movement. Osteopathy has been in Ila’s life since a young child, with her father being an Osteopath. Hence, she has been intrigued by the profession her whole life.
She enjoys the diversity that Osteopathic treatment offers and the wide patient presentations that come with it. She is particularly fascinated in Cranial osteopathy, Women’s health, Paediatrics, LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse individuals,TMJ dysfunction and Barefoot mechanics. Ila is very affirming of LGBTIQA+ and neurodiverse individuals with having close connection to these communities. She encourages people to foster a healing and healthy lifestyle through education and tailor’s treatments to meet the patient’s needs and interests.
Ila believes Osteopathy is for all bodies, thus, her personable, passionate and open-minded traits create a safe and therapeutically inviting space for all patients. She applies a wide range of holistic hands-on techniques, utilising Osteopathy’s core principles. Ila believes in the body’s natural ability to heal itself and hopes to be a facilitator in a patient’s journey towards their own health.
In her personal time, she loves getting active in the outdoors, camping, going to live music events around town and playing music in her band.
