Paea brings over two decades of experience working with bodies in movement, recovery, and change. She worked for more than twenty years as a contemporary dance artist nationally and internationally, alongside teaching movement to people of all ages and backgrounds. This long-standing embodied practice informs her thoughtful, observant approach to osteopathic care.
Her path into osteopathy grew from a deep interest in anatomy, health, and the lived experience of the body, as well as formative osteopathic care received while working overseas. Prior to osteopathy, Paea practised for eight years as a Zenthai Shiatsu practitioner, supporting people with pain, tension, and stress-related conditions through skilled touch and movement awareness.
Paea works with people experiencing pain, physical discomfort, and recovery, combining hands-on treatment with clear, practical education to support long-term change. She has particular interests in chronic pain, immune system dysfunction, osteopathy in the cranial field (including biodynamic approaches), and paediatric care. Her background includes extensive somatic movement training, including Body-Mind Centering®, and over twenty years of Iyengar yoga practice.
Paea lives in the Macedon Ranges with her family and two children.
